At the time of writing, no less than 116 movies based on comic books are being planned or in production, and that's just the ones that have been mentioned or announced! Let's look at some of the movies that are being planned.
The return of Leftfield
Popular 90s electronica duo Leftfield returns in 2010. The comeback this year is marked by festival appearances, although without one half of the duo, Paul Daley. Leftfield's first album Leftism came in 1995 and is an IDM / electronica classic.

News broke this week about possible plans for the next Superman movie. After the failed franchise reboot in 2006, attempts have been made to launch another reboot, and with yesterday's news things look a little brighter.

Jarre goes 3D for 2010 tour
With less than a week to go before French synthesizer superstar Jean Michel Jarre starts his 2010 tour, details of the new production are coming out. The main concept of the tour is a tribute to the late sci-fi author and Jarre's friend, Arthur C. Clarke, who was inspired by Jarre's music when he wrote 2010: Odyssey Two.
2010 Saturn Award nominees
Today the 2010 Saturn Award nominees were published. Not surprisingly, Avatar leads the race, and we'll know on June 24 which movies wins in the 30 categories.
Space explores space exploration
The French musician and composer Didier Marouani, known as Space since the late 70s, has put the final touches on his new album, the first since 2002. The album is called From Earth to Mars and is dedicated to the planet Mars and the first human flight there.
